Am I Helping? [Added Story]

Speedy is usually seen as the cheerful little pegasus who, although hyper, has a good heart. She loves to help people when she can. She is also the person you go to when you are feeling upset. She is always there to listen, always by your side. She keeps a smile on her face and her cheery look as her pony friends explain what's going on. One day she listened to three different ponies and then went home without a word to anyone. People noticed her but didn't bother to ask if she was ok.

If only they had know.

Speedy had a hard time sleeping for the past few days. She had gotten a lot of stressful news and had been feeling upset as well. When she awoke at 3am one night she was met by the creature she had grown accustomed to once more.

"Can't sleep?" it would ask, it's voice calm and echoed in the room like a whisper.

"I'm fine. Just been a little depressed is all." Speedy responded. The creature held her close in it's cold embrace.

"Just keep listening to them.. Help them through the pain like you always have my dear." the creature stated as it petted her gently. She nuzzled into this creature but realized that she was growing weaker.. As if she was being drained..

"Why do I feel.. not as perky.. ?" she managed to say. Her whole body started to weaken as she noticed her life being drained from the creature. Her eyes opened wide in shock and she struggled against the creature but he held tighter refusing to let go.

"Relax my dear.. You're helping me feel better. Don't you want that?" he whispered in a soothing but sad tone.

"Of course I do but... Who's going to help me?..."
