Walking in Someone Else's Shoes

"Dragons have been seen as violent creatures for many years. We are expected to walk the path of the violent, the wicked, the cruel. However, ponies do not understand that not all of us choose to be this way. We can be kind and peaceful. Our kind however, has it's flaws and has it's traditions. I wanted to push past the traditions, move our kind forward, use technology to make our lives easier. This was not so. I showed the others what I could do with technology I had gotten from other places. They turned their back on me saying I could not do these things and must stay with tradition. So..
